		Jas5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. Jas5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

	2010.09.05	神給我們的基業 God's Inheritance for Us (以弗所書 Ephesians 1:11-14)
		Eph 1:11 我們也在他裡面得了基業、〔得或作成〕這原是那位隨己意行作萬事的、照著他旨意所預定的． Eph 1:12 叫他的榮耀、從我們這首先在基督裡有盼望的人、可以得著稱讚。 Eph 1:13 你們既聽見真理的道、就是那叫你們得救的福音、也信了基督、既然信他、就受了所應許的聖靈為印記． Eph 1:14 這聖靈、是我們得基業的憑據、〔原文作質〕直等到　神之民〔民原文作產業〕被贖、使他的榮耀得著稱讚。
		Eph1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: Eph1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Eph1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Eph1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

		Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

		Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 		5:9 弟兄們、你們不要彼此埋怨、免得受審判．看哪、審判的主站在門前了。 5:12 我的弟兄們、最要緊的是不可起誓．不可指著天起誓、也不可指著地起誓、無論何誓都不可起．你們說話、是就說是、不是就說不是、免得你們落在審判之下。
		Jas5:9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door. Jas5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

		弟兄們哪、你們要忍耐、直到主來。看哪、農夫忍耐等候地裡寶貴的出產、直到得了秋雨春雨。你們也當忍耐、堅固你們的心．因為主來的日子近了。弟兄們、你們不要彼此埋怨、免得受審判．看哪、審判的主站在門前了。弟兄們、你們要把那先前奉主名說話的眾先知、當作能受苦能忍耐的榜樣。那先前忍耐的人、我們稱他們是有福的．你們聽見過約伯的忍耐、也知道主給他的結局、明顯主是滿心憐憫、大有慈悲。我的弟兄們、最要緊的是不可起誓．不可指著天起誓、也不可指著地起誓、無論何誓都不可起．你們說話、是就說是、不是就說不是、免得你們落在審判之下。

		你們作兒女的、要在主裡聽從父母、這是理所當然的。要孝敬父母、使你得福、在世長壽．這是第一條帶應許的誡命。見上節你們作父親的、不要惹兒女的氣、只要照著主的教訓和警戒、養育他們。
		Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

		耶穌設一個比喻、是要人常常禱告、不可灰心．說、某城裡有一個官、不懼怕　神、也不尊重世人。那城裡有個寡婦、常到他那裡、說、我有一個對頭、求你給我伸冤。他多日不准．後來心裡說、我雖不懼怕　神、也不尊重世人．只因這寡婦煩擾我、我就給他伸冤罷．免得他常來纏磨我。主說、你們聽這不義之官所說的話。神的選民、晝夜呼籲他、他縱然為他們忍了多時、豈不終久給他們伸冤麼。我告訴你們、要快快的給他們伸冤了．然而人子來的時候、遇得見世上有信德麼。
		And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

		嗐、你們這些富足人哪、應當哭泣、號咷、因為將有苦難臨到你們身上。你們的財物壞了、衣服也被蟲子咬了。你們的金銀都長了鏽．那鏽要證明你們的不是、又要喫你們的肉、如同火燒。你們在這末世、只知積儹錢財。工人給你們收割莊稼、你們虧欠他們的工錢．這工錢有聲音呼叫．並且那收割之人的冤聲、已經入了萬軍之主的耳了。你們在世上享美福、好宴樂、當宰殺的日子竟嬌養你們的心。你們定了義人的罪、把他殺害、他也不抵擋你們。
		Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

		於是乃縵帶著車馬到了以利沙的家、站在門前。以利沙打發一個使者、對乃縵說、你去在約但河中沐浴七回、你的肉就必復原、而得潔淨。乃縵卻發怒走了、說、我想他必定出來見我、站著求告耶和華他　神的名、在患處以上搖手、治好這大痲瘋。大馬色的河、亞罷拿和法珥法豈不比以色列的一切水更好麼．我在那裡沐浴不得潔淨麼。於是氣忿忿的轉身去了。他的僕人進前來、對他說、我父阿、先知若吩咐你作一件大事、你豈不作麼．何況說你去沐浴、而得潔淨呢。於是乃縵下去、照著神人的話．在約但河裡沐浴七回、他的肉復原、好像小孩子的肉、他就潔淨了。乃縵帶著一切跟隨他的人、回到神人那裡、站在他面前說、如今我知道、除了以色列之外、普天下沒有　神．現在求你收點僕人的禮物。
		So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

	2010.05.02	快將好消息傳開 Spread the Good News Quickly (列王記下 2 Kings 7:1-9)
		以利沙說、你們要聽耶和華的話．耶和華如此說明日約到這時候、在撒瑪利亞城門口、一細亞細麵要賣銀一舍客勒、二細亞大麥也要賣銀一舍客勒。有一個攙扶王的軍長、對神人說、即便耶和華使天開了窗戶、也不能有這事。以利沙說、你必親眼看見、卻不得喫。在城門那裡有四個長大痲瘋的人．他們彼此說、我們為何坐在這裡等死呢。我們若說、進城去罷、城裡有饑荒、必死在那裡．若在這裡坐著不動、也必是死。來罷、我們去投降亞蘭人的軍隊．他們若留我們的活命、就活著．若殺我們、就死了罷。黃昏的時候、他們起來往亞蘭人的營盤去．到了營邊、不見一人在那裡。因為主使亞蘭人的軍隊聽見車馬的聲音、是大軍的聲音．他們就彼此說、這必是以色列王賄買赫人的諸王、和埃及人的諸王、來攻擊我們。所以在黃昏的時候他們起來逃跑、撇下帳棚、馬、驢、營盤照舊、只顧逃命。那些長大痲瘋的到了營邊、進了帳棚、喫了、喝了、且從其中拿出金銀、和衣服來、去收藏了．回來、又進了一座帳棚、從其中拿出財物來、去收藏了。那時他們彼此說、我們所作的不好．今日是有好信息的日子、我們竟不作聲．若等到天亮、罪必臨到我們．來罷、我們與王家報信去。
		Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there. For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life. And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it. Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household.

		嗐、你們有話說、今天明天我們要往某城裡去、在那裡住一年、作買賣得利．其實明天如何、你們還不知道。你們的生命是甚麼呢．你們原來是一片雲霧、出現少時就不見了。你們只當說、主若願意、我們就可以活著、也可以作這事、或作那事。現今你們竟以張狂誇口．凡這樣誇口都是惡的。人若知道行善、卻不去行、這就是他的罪了。
		Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

		弟兄們、你們不可彼此批評．人若批評弟兄、論斷弟兄、就是批評律法、論斷律法．你若論斷律法、就不是遵行律法、乃是判斷人的。設立律法和判斷人的、只有一位、就是那能救人也能滅人的．你是誰、竟敢論斷別人呢。
		Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

		但他賜更多的恩典．所以經上說、『　神阻擋驕傲的人、賜恩給謙卑的人。』故此你們要順服　神．務要抵擋魔鬼、魔鬼就必離開你們逃跑了。你們親近　神、　神就必親近你們。有罪的人哪、要潔淨你們的手。心懷二意的人哪、要清潔你們的心。你們要愁苦、悲哀、哭泣．將喜笑變作悲哀、歡樂變作愁悶。務要在主面前自卑、主就必叫你們升高。
		But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

		你們這些淫亂的人哪、〔淫亂的人原文作淫婦〕豈不知與世俗為友、就是與　神為敵麼．所以凡想要與世俗為友的、就是與　神為敵了。你們想經上所說是徒然的麼．　神所賜住在我們裡面的靈、是戀愛至於嫉妒麼。
		Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

	2010.03.07	在聖殿中獻上的禱告 Prayer Offered from the Temple (歷代志下 2 Chronicles 7:12-16)
		夜間耶和華向所羅門顯現、對他說、我已聽了你的禱告、也選擇這地方作為祭祀我的殿宇。我若使天閉塞不下雨、或使蝗蟲喫這地的出產、或使瘟疫流行在我民中．這稱為我名下的子民、若是自卑、禱告、尋求我的面、轉離他們的惡行．我必從天上垂聽、赦免他們的罪醫治他們的地。我必睜眼看、側耳聽、在此處所獻的禱告。現在我已選擇這殿、分別為聖、使我的名永在其中．我的眼我的心也必常在那裡。
		And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

		你們中間的爭戰鬥毆、是從那裡來的呢．不是從你們百體中戰鬥之私慾來的麼。你們貪戀、還是得不著．你們殺害嫉妒、又鬥毆爭戰、也不能得．你們得不著、是因為你們不求。你們求也得不著、是因為你們妄求、要浪費在你們的宴樂中。
		From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

		耶和華的話、二次臨到約拿說、你起來、往尼尼微大城去、向其中的居民宣告我所吩咐你的話。約拿便照耶和華的話起來、往尼尼微去。這尼尼微是極大的城、有三日的路程。約拿進城走了一日、宣告說、再等四十日、尼尼微必傾覆了。尼尼微人信服　神、便宣告禁食、從最大的到至小的都穿麻衣。〔或作披上麻布〕這信息傳到尼尼微王的耳中、他就下了寶座、脫下朝服、披上麻布、坐在灰中。他又使人遍告尼尼微通城說、王和大臣有令、人不可嘗甚麼、牲畜、牛羊、不可喫草、也不可喝水。人與牲畜都當披上麻布、人要切切求告　神．各人回頭離開所行的惡道、丟棄手中的強暴。或者　神轉意後悔、不發烈怒、使我們不至滅亡、也未可知。於是　神察看他們的行為、見他們離開惡道、他就後悔、不把所說的災禍降與他們了。
		And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

		Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

		But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
